    Gave them to an auto electrician after i bought one. Leaves the the meter lead attached to the wire under test

    These clips are excellent and the perforation is done by screwing the threaded body close to the connection. Note that they are suitable for “banana” plugs and not for tester pins. They are very large.

    The product has a good appearance and is large in size. The bananas are inserted by pressure to easily connect and disconnect. The clips are fixed to the cable by thread in a fixed manner, not by pressure, which is good to prevent them from disconnecting or coming off. They are not like alligator clips. Not tested yet.

    Got the “old style”, and am very happy. The probe covers unscrew to leave only sharp tips, which can be used for probing smd components as well. Would have liked compatibility with safety banana plugs but that’s not a big deal.
