I installed a gender adapter on my Model Y, and it charges accurately at 3kW. The cable length is sufficient, the price is affordable, and it’s perfect. The charger provided by Tesla only charges at 2kW, and the charging speed drops significantly due to heat generation, but this one doesn’t have that problem. It’s excellent.

Orderd this charger for our volkswagen e-up. tested it and it functions as promised. simple procedure for selecting the required amps and charging time. display show continuously the actual amps, the quantity of kw and duration of charging for this session. nor the cables, nor the charger gets warm. our vehicle can now be charged with mainly the sun through the pv panels. 🙂

I bought this to use with the ATO3 when I go to my country house. It’s cheap and I just adjust the current using the touch control. I think 16A might be too much, so I’ll probably need to set it to around 13A.

Completely satisfied, I’ve only been using it for 1 month but it does the job. The advantage of this device is that on my Peugeot Ion (C-zero/i-Miev) you cannot manage the power level sent to the battery. With the original CRO it’s 8A, or if you have a reinforced socket (greenup) it’s 14A. Thanks to this charger, when I need to quickly charge 6/7 kW, I choose 16A, and when I want to charge to 100% overnight, I set it to 8A.
The only risk => forcing a 16A load on an unreinforced outlet! ! It’s heating up and the risk of fire is serious.
