It works great with all obd-ii software i’ve tested it with. The communication speed seems slightly faster than my regular elm327 scanner. The packaging is surprisingly high quality. The included brochure has qr codes for the firmware update tool, as well as an extensive list of available diagnostic software. The device came with the latest firmware version currently available already installed.

And it read the fault codes on my mg4 without problem.

Excellent. Fast data transfer. Tested with both iphone and android devices.
I use it with phev watchdog with android head unit and iphone for odb ii diagnostics. Works great.

Connected to the Hyundai Tucson NX4, it works and checks basic errors. It activates when the app is launched, so it does not drain the battery when connected to the OBD2 port and the Canscaner app is not running.
