LAUNCH X431 PRO3 PRO3S+ELITE
The X-431 PRO3 (PRO3S+ELITE) is developed based on the Android 10.0 system, with powerful hardware and software upgrades and SmartLinkC second-generation connectors. It not only supports local diagnosis but also super remote diagnosis, achieving factory level diagnostic capabilities;
Supports mainstream diagnostic protocols such as CAN 2.0, CANFD, DoIP, and J2534 diagnostic communication standard, and can be extended to commercial or new energy vehicle diagnostic equipment as needed.
Intelligent Diagnose
Through simple wireless communication between the display tablet and VCI, you can easily get the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) information of the currently identified vehicle. Once the VIN is successfully identified, the system will retrieve it from the remote server and then guide you to vehicle information page without the necessity of step-by-step manual menu selection.
The vehicle information page lists all historical diagnostic records of the vehicle, which lets the technician have a total command of the vehicle faults. In addition, a quick dial to local diagnose and diagnostic function are also available on this page for reducing the roundabout time and increasing productivity.
Remote Diagnose
This module helps repair shops or mechanics to diagnose a remote vehicle, and launch instant messages, allowing for improved efficiency and faster repairs.
Feedback
This function enables you to feedback the diagnostic issues to us for analysis and troubleshooting.
Diagnostic History
This function enables users to directly get access to the previously tested vehicle’s diagnostic records in details, so users can resume from the last operation, without starting from scratch.
Actuation Test
This option is used to access vehicle-specific subsystem and component tests.
Available test vary by vehicle manufacturer, year, and model.
During the actuation test, the tablet outputs commands to the ECU in order to drive the actuators, and then determines the integrity of the system or parts by reading the ECU data, or by monitoring the operation of the actuators, such as switching a injector between two operating states.
Service (Reset) Function
This module provides an easy dial to quickly access the most commonly performed service functions.
This option offers coding, reset, relearn and more service functions, to help vehicles get back to functional status after repair or replacement. Available tests vary by vehicle manufacturer, year, and model.
Due to continuing improvements, the available service functions are subject to change at any time. To enjoy more service functions, you are suggested to check for updates on a regular basis.

I just bought the pro3s+ elite because of the expanding abilities that it can do. With the pro3s+ elite, one can add a 4 channel scope to it, add a sensor box, and hd trucks capabilities too.

It pairs flawlessly with my launch tpms tool and battery tester. What’s more, this device also supports oscilloscope functionality. I’ll post an update if any problems pop up, though i don’t expect to run into any issues.

The smart detection function pulls up both current and pending trouble codes (dtcs). Inside the package, you’ll find a full set of adapters, along with the diagnostic scanner, ethernet cable and vci module. I turned on the device right away, and it was at 99% battery. It booted up in roughly 15 seconds — noticeably quicker than my old 4.0+ model. After signing into my launch account, i ran a system check and found 85 pending updates, which was to be expected. The download process took nearly an hour to finish, and then i started putting the scanner through its paces.
